Anyma Named Creative Visual Director by Hip-Hop Artist The Weeknd

Anyma was recently announced as the Creative Visual Director for The Weeknd’s exclusive concert in São Paulo on September 7th. The event took place at Estádio MorumBIS, just ahead of the release of The Weeknd’s sixth album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. Fans, who had been promised a “never-before-seen” production, were thrilled to learn Anyma was behind the cutting-edge visuals.

Co-directed by multidisciplinary artist Alexander Wessely, the show also featured Alessio De Vecchi, Anyma’s lead visual artist, as Art Director. De Vecchi was honored as EDM.com’s Best Visual Artist of 2023.

The Weeknd’s upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, is the final chapter in a trilogy that began with After Hours and Dawn FM. Described as the “creative peak” of the project, the album is eagerly awaited by fans.
