Bossi has officially departed Cosmic Gate after nearly three decades, bringing an end to one of trance music’s most enduring and influential partnerships. The German duo, formed in 1999, became global icons during the rise of commercial trance in the early 2000s and remained festival mainstays for over 27 years. In a heartfelt statement shared on social media, the split was described as a respectful and mutual decision. Bossi has chosen to step away from the demands of touring, signaling the close of a historic chapter for the Grammy-nominated act.
