Biography and Career
Chase & Status—Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status)—have spent nearly two decades at the heart of drum & bass, pushing the sound from underground clubs to the world’s biggest stages.
Their breakthrough came with the debut album More Than Alot (2008), which delivered tracks like “Pieces” and “Against All Odds” that helped define the late-2000s DnB era. The follow-up, No More Idols (2011), became a UK chart phenomenon, powered by anthems such as “Blind Faith” and “End Credits,” and collaborations with Plan B, Dizzee Rascal, and Delilah.
From there, Brand New Machine (2013) and Tribe (2017) expanded their sonic palette, blending jungle, grime, dubstep, and hip hop while drawing in major features from the likes of CeeLo Green and Kano. In 2019, they paid homage to their roots with RTRN II JUNGLE, reconnecting with the raw energy of UK rave culture.
Beyond their own catalog, Chase & Status shaped the scene through their label MTA Records, which signed breakthrough acts like Nero. On stage, they’ve built a reputation for intensity—whether DJing late-night festival slots at Creamfields and EDC, or bringing live instruments and visuals to Glastonbury’s main stages.

Chase & Status continue to blur the line between pirate-radio chaos and stadium-level spectacle. Whether it’s a reload in a dark club or a sing-back chorus at sunrise, they’ve become a gateway to drum & bass for a global audience — without losing the rough-edged energy that got them here.
