Upcoming Release
To celebrate the announcement, Lake dropped a new single, “In My Head,” a highly anticipated collaboration with genre-blurring vocalist Amber Mark. The track blends deep house rhythms with soulful R&B textures, giving fans a taste of the emotional depth and range to expect from Chemistry. It follows recent singles “Ease My Mind” and “Toxic,” both of which have fueled excitement for the album’s full release.
The news arrives just ahead of Lake’s groundbreaking appearance at Coachella, where he’ll become the first artist to perform an official DJ set inside the festival’s campgrounds. Set for Thursday night, the set will act as an unofficial kickoff to the weekend, with Lake previewing unreleased music and selections from the upcoming album.
Chris Lake’s Comments
“This album has been a long time in the making,” Lake said. “And it features some really special artists I’ve been lucky enough to work with. ‘In My Head’ has been one of the most requested tracks from my sets—so people can finally stop asking me when it’s coming out.”
Fans can stream “In My Head” now and pre-save Chemistry ahead of its release this summer.
