Pasquale Rotella Unveils Major Festival Changes, New Partnerships, and an Expanded Experience for EDC’s 29th Edition
EDC Las Vegas 2025 is shaping up to be its most ambitious and immersive edition yet. During the annual Music Through Music livestream, Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella unveiled major festival updates, including a new theme, expanded stage designs, a groundbreaking music education partnership, and the return of fan-favorite experiences.

Taking place May 16-18, 2025, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this year’s festival will feature 16 stages, over 500,000 Headliners, and a lineup of more than 250 artists.

Stages
Ubuntu: A brand-new stage created in partnership with South Africa’s Bridges For Music Academy, showcasing Afro house rhythms and performances from legendary South African artists.
bassPOD: The final year of the current bassPOD design before an all-new structure debuts in 2026.
bionicJUNGLE: Expanded dance floor and hosted by labels such as HARD Recs, Live From Earth, HARD Selects, Planet X, and Factory 93.
quantumVALLEY: A redesigned stage dedicated to trance and progressive music, co-hosted by Interstellar and Dreamstate.
wasteLAND: Maintaining its signature container aesthetic, this stage will now dedicate one full day to hard techno and hardcore.
stereoBLOOM: A larger dance floor and a newly added VIP section for an upgraded experience.
neonGARDEN: A fusion of past and present stage designs, hosted by Factory 93, Club Space, and for the first time ever, Time Warp.

For 2025, Insomniac’s Discovery Project is teaming up with Icon Collective to provide the EDC Las Vegas competition winner with a full-ride scholarship to one of the most prestigious music production schools.
