House Music Producer, John Summit, is finally releasing his collaboration “GO BACK” with Sub Focus on May 16. This Drum and Bass collaboration features vocals from Julia Church, quickly gaining the attention from EDM fans. This track has been highly anticipated since it caught attraction at Coachella last month.

Not only has this ID attracted house music fans, but it’s also John Summit’s first drum and bass release. “DnB” has grown in popularity, however, fans believe with the influence of John Summit, it has the opportunity to become the next major sub-genre of EDM.
John Summit has consistently stretched the limits of music, not only through live performances like “SubJohnics” but also in music production. Another example would be upcoming collaboration with Subtronics and Tape B! (See Below)
Sub Focus
Sub Focus is a popular British DJ and producer known for his work in the drum and bass genre. Emerging in the early 2000s, Sub Focus gained prominence with hits like “Tidal Wave” and “Turn Back Time.” His signature sounds combines various electronic styles, which has led him to this John Summit collaboration, but also with artists such as Wilkinson and Dimension.
This rare collaboration comes shortly after the release of his third solo album “EVOLVE” (See Below)
This innovative collaboration aims to push the boundaries of EDM subgenres. “GO BACK” has the opportunity to create influence of the drum and bass genre in America. Sure, this is a step in the right direction for Drum and Bass music, but an even bigger step in the right direction for EDM as a whole. John Summit has continually shown DJs that playing different genres of music brings the community together.
