The festival is supported by the Fremont Street Experience, the STRAT Hotel, and 12 other downtown hotel-casinos, which will collaboratively host various programming for the event, as reported by KNTV Las Vegas.
KNTV Las Vegas notes that the festival aims to capitalize on the excitement surrounding the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which returns to the city from November 21-24, 2024, as the 22nd race of the Formula 1 season.
Las Vegas Grand Prix
Last year’s race, the first Grand Prix in Las Vegas since 1982, had mixed results. Extensive road work from April to December 2023, along with initially high hotel rates, led to challenges in filling rooms. This year, however, the focus is on ensuring that downtown hotels, with over 6,000 rooms, benefit from the festival. LVCVA president and CEO Steve Hill emphasized the broader financial benefits, noting that attracting visitors from across the city to experience the entire Resort Corridor is a key goal.
