Biography and Career
Levity’s story started in the college town of Iowa City. The three members met during their freshman year and bonded over their mutual love for electronic dance music. It wasn’t long before they started experimenting with sounds and performing at local venues. Summit became their regular spot, until Covid-19 hit during their Junior year of college.
Their big break came when they played their first major festival at Electric Forest in 2023. This performance caught the eye of bass music fans and led to more significant opportunities. Soon, Levity was featured on the biggest festival lineups, and making appearances in Chicago and other major cities.
In 2024, the trio released their debut EP, Escapism Vol. 1, a project that showcased their balance of weighty drops and melody-driven songwriting. To expand their reach, they also launched the Airplane Mode mix series in 2024, using it to spotlight new IDs, edits, and peers from their circle.
