Although the hip-hop album hasn’t been officially announced, it had a major impact on shaping their new album. “Working on the hip-hop project brought me back to our Chicago roots,” Hauldren shared. “It helped reconnect us with the emotions that first sparked Louis The Child, and you’ll hear those early influences in The Sun Comes Up, but with a more polished sound.”
While it may seem surprising, this isn’t the first time Louis The Child has experimented with different genres. In 2022, they launched Black Marble, an alias known for its darker, experimental electronic music with a late-night club vibe. With the duo’s growing range, fans are left wondering—will the hip-hop album ever be released?
