Lucidity Music Festivals Closes Doors in 2024
After a decade of events, Lucidity closes its doors due to inflation.
Lucidity Festival, a popular event since 2012, has announced it is shutting down. The festival, which was set to happen in 2024 at Live Oak Campground, had to cancel after key permits were denied just weeks before the event. This led to major financial issues for the organizers.

Although they found a new venue for 2025, the financial damage from this year’s cancellation—combined with earlier struggles from the pandemic and bad weather last year—was too much. Lucidity Festival has decided to close permanently.
In a social media post, the organizers expressed their deep regret and explained that they could not recover from the financial hit. Unfortunately, they are unable to offer refunds to ticket holders, which they know is disappointing.

“We tried everything we could to keep the festival going,” the team shared, noting that they sought help from government grants, investors, and community donations, but it wasn’t enough.
