Pendulum’s Long-Awaited Return
It’s been fifteen years since Pendulum dropped Immersion in 2010, an album that helped expand drum & bass into the global mainstream. Known for their fusion of heavy rock and electronic elements, the band has influenced generations of producers and festival crowds. Now, with the release of Inertia, they’ve returned with an album that captures both nostalgia and forward-thinking creativity.
Frontman Rob Swire revealed on Instagram that the album took more than five years to complete, involved over 1,000 demos, and passed through multiple managers and record labels. “A lot of heartache, doubt, regret, spite, disappointment and excitement,” he admitted, before adding: “I’m happy it’s finally out there as one body of work.”
