Damage & Injuries
According to reports from Berliner Zeitung, the man attempted to run over each of the guards individually. He then rammed the vehicle into the club’s wall and iconic front gate before fleeing the scene toward Ostkreuz station.
Despite the chaotic situation, no one was injured. The full extent of damage to Sisyphos’ front gate, known for its signature kissing duck design, remains unknown. Berlin police are asking any witnesses to come forward with information about the suspect, who has not yet been identified.
Berlin nightclubs are known for their strict door policies, often turning away potential guests based on appearance or behavior. Even high-profile figures like Elon Musk have been denied entry at clubs such as Berghain.
Sisyphos, which opened in 2009 in a repurposed dog biscuit factory, has earned global fame for its immersive atmosphere and surprise performances by well-known DJs.
