Summer Camp Music Festival Cancels 2025 Event, Plans Full Return in 2026

For fans of Summer Camp Music Festival, the past few years have been a roller coaster of changes.

After rebranding in 2024 with the debut of Solshine Reverie, the festival’s organizers later announced that the new event would not return in 2025. Instead, they shifted their focus back to a three-day Memorial Day Weekend show series—but today, that too has been canceled.

Earlier today, Summer Camp Presents announced via social media that their 2024 Memorial Day Weekend event at Peoria Riverfront will no longer take place. “Although we gave it our best efforts, a variety of factors such as the state of the music festival industry, artist conflicts, and more did not allow us to put together a Memorial Day event this year that would live up to the Summer Camp Presents brand,” the organizers shared. Instead, they confirmed that Summer Camp Music Festival will return in full for its 25th anniversary from May 22-24, 2026.
Upcoming Events
While there won’t be a full festival in 2024, Summer Camp Presents has announced a series of shows at Peoria Riverfront as a lead-up to the 2026 milestone event. The lineup includes:
– June 20 – Artist TBA
– June 26 – Cake
– July 17 – The Infamous Stringdusters & Leftover Salmon w/ Kitchen Dwellers
– August 7 – Moe. with Eggy
– August 15 – Artist TBA
Additional artists will be announced in the coming months.
