Summer Smash 2024 Evacuation
Summer Smash is a popular Chicago music festival, bringing in hundreds of thousands of hip-hop fans. This year, poor weather conditions forced fans to evacuate. During the evacuations fans began to trash the festival grounds, fighting, and even throwing metal railings at each other.

More than 4,000 people took part in the riot, however, no arrests have been reported. The riot concluded after 30 minutes, and left multiple people injured.
The EDM Community is notorious for the love we have for each other. At dance music festivals, fans can go without worry of leaving injured, and unfortunately the same cannot be said for Summer Smash.
