Initial reports of the incident surfaced on Reddit, where user u/Lumpy_Scholar_1407 described the chaos in the vendor area. Security on-site instructed bystanders to call 911. Although the post was deleted by Lost Lands subreddit moderators for being “inaccurate or misleading,” it remains up on r/aves.
Lost Lands organizers have since confirmed the details, stating, “One person was transported to the hospital and is in good condition. The Licking County Police Department is leading the investigation, and one person is in custody.”
In a separate incident, a video shared on Reddit showed a festival-goer holding what appeared to be a gun. Festival officials clarified that it was a water gun, and the individual was promptly removed from the event. “We have a zero-tolerance policy for any objects resembling weapons,” the team stated.
Additional Info
Lost Lands, now in its final day, has been fraught with additional complications. The festival’s ticketing platform, Lyte, unexpectedly shut down, leaving ticket holders in disarray. The Lost Lands team is working with Lyte to assist affected attendees. Moreover, a fire ban has been imposed due to local drought conditions. Despite rumors circulating on social media, no fines have been issued to attendees for smoking, although videos showed Zeds Dead smoking on stage during their performance.
