Biography and Career

Ethan Snoreck began producing music in his bedroom in Tinley Park, Chicago. In an interview with NVDES, Whethan shared his inspiration came primarily from Skrillex. After hearing Scary Monsters and Nice Spirits, Whethan explained he initially tried to produce his first track on Garage Band using his family iPad. After realizing that the iPad was not suitable for music production, he pivoted to his mother’s computer.

That early momentum led to official singles such as “Savage” (with Flux Pavilion & MAX) and “Superlove” (with Oh Wonder), which showcased his knack for fusing bass music punch with pop-friendly hooks. Around this time he struck up a creative partnership with Oliver Tree, resulting in streaming staples like “When I’m Down,” “Freefall,” and “Do You Feel Me?”—songs that bridged EDM’s festival world with mainstream audiences.

He followed with projects like Life of a Wallflower, Vol. 1 (2018) and his debut album Fantasy (2020), expanding his palette with indie textures, guitars, and experimental production.

In 2024–2025, Whethan pivoted back toward club and underground sounds. He recently dropped WAREHOUSE.WAVS on SoundCloud, a pack of gritty hip-hop edits.. The edits debuted live during his DEF x SoundCloud showcase set, highlighting his versatility and continued innovation to the bass music community. Performances at Electric Forest 2025 and other festivals underline his ability to balance mainstream crossover appeal with underground credibility.
