Ahead of his End of Genesys residency debut, Milleri revealed running over 20 VR visual tests with his team to perfect features like robotic cello arms and a quantum computer replica. The performance centers around Eva, an AI character at the heart of Anyma’s project. “The final piece is called Human Now,” Milleri shared. “Eva is going to turn human to close the circle. But will it work? Is she human?”
Initially planned for six shows, high demand extended the residency to eight sold-out performances, with over 130,000 tickets sold. The Sphere, with its 160,000-square-foot LED screen, provided the ideal platform for Anyma’s cybernetic opera, which explores themes of human-machine integration and evolution.
Milleri also addressed misconceptions about his success, denying rumors of nepotism. “People think I came out of nowhere, but this has been 15 years of hard work,” he said. “Every dollar I’ve earned has gone back into my art.”
Milleri’s Genesys project will conclude with a third album, Genesys III, exploring quantum computing and multiverses. Fans eagerly await its release, asking the ultimate question: Will Eva finally become human?
