Pioneer Drops New DDJ-GRV6 DJ Controller
AlphaTheta, the parent company of Pioneer DJ, has launched the DDJ-GRV6, a four-channel controller for rekordbox DJ and Serato. It features four up-faders, a Color FX per channel, a three-band EQ, a trim knob, and a Beat FX section. Each deck includes a CDJ-style layout with eight performance pads and jog wheels. Switching between decks one and two, or three and four, is made easy with a dedicated button.

Features
The standout feature is Groove Circuit, with Drum Swap, allowing DJs to replace drum tracks using pre-defined loops from rekordbox. This enables quick rhythm changes for live remixes or smoother transitions between tracks. The Capture button allows users to save drums from the current track to Drum Swap Banks, which can be recalled later in rekordbox.
Serato & Rekordbox FX
In rekordbox, the DDJ-GRV6 also includes Stem FX, letting DJs add effects to individual stems of a track. Serato users also benefit from this feature, with controls replacing the Groove Circuit interface. This allows DJs to get creative by isolating and modifying specific parts of the track during performances.
The controller features a Discovery button, connecting to rekordbox’s Collection Radar. Additionally it features TRS and RCA master outputs, RCA booth outputs, and a USB-C port for laptop connectivity.
